Arkansas River Tours and Pikes Peak - America's Mountain Scenic Highway have teamed up to offer a combination of a whitewater rafting trip with a scenic drive up America's most popular mountain. The 19-mile drive reaches the summit at 14,110 feet, one of Colorado's tallest peaks. The vistas from the summit inspired Katharine Lee Bates to write the song "America the Beautiful". Looking east you can see all of Colorado Springs and to the north or south there are views of Colorado's Front Range. Look to the west for one of the most spectacular views in Colorado of the Rocky Mountains. You will have ample time to picnic, view wildlife or fish the lakes on your way up or down Pikes Peak. Opened in 1916, the Pikes Peak Highway is home to the International Hill Climb Race and the Pikes Peak Marathon.

When you book this exclusive package you will enjoy two of the Colorado Springs area's favorite activities. You will pick up your Pikes Peak - America's Mountain entrance tickets when you check in for your raft trip. This package may be combined with any of our Arkansas River rafting trips.

COST:

It's simple. Add $ 7.00 to your rafting trip per person for everyone 16 years and older. Add $ 2 to your rafting trip per person for everyone 6 to 15 years old. *There is no cost for children 5 years old and under on the Pikes Peak Highway. Children 5 years old and under (35 lbs. minimum weight) may be allowed at certain water levels on our Cottonwood Family Float rafting trip.
