Arkansas River Tours has a long history of working with scout groups. We were founded by former Colorado Outward Bound executive director, Rick Medrick, who instilled a focus of experiential learning in our river program. Our guides are trained as instructors not just guides to provide a learning experience on all of our trips. We can provide programs from a ½ day whitewater trip to a multi-day training course for your group where scouts will learn to actually guide rafts safely.
